  • Dry water could help fight climate change

    31.08.2010

An American scientist has presented a study on the benefits of dry water. With the appearance of flour and made up of particles that contain droplets of water surrounded by a nanolayer of hydrophobic silica, the dry water can absorb over three times as much carbon dioxide as ordinary, thus becoming a good tool to fight climate change. Besides, scientists who have been studying its properties have discovered that it can be a safer way to store and transport gases, as well as produce succinic acid used in the food and drug industries, thus reducing energy consumption.
