The director of the IDEAS Foundation, Carlos Mulas, is visiting Israel together with a delegation of members of think tanks, experts and political strategists to take a close look at and analyze formulas to reinforce peace and security in the Middle East.

During the plenary session of political leaders of the I Latin American Progress Conference organized by the IDEAS Foundation, Zapatero affirmed that globalization “is already our play ground and we must work to make it multipolar and not unipolar, which China, India the USA, Europe and Latin America playing the role of regional leaders.”

The International Network corresponds to the international focus of the IDEAS Foundation. The main objective is to create a broad network of think tanks and progressive foundation from different countries and regions in the world in order to design common actions, carry out studies and joint projects, exchange experiences and optimize efforts as well as material and human resources in the context of international debates on the current political issues.
The progressive organizations we closely work with include the historic German Social Democrat Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the prestigious Center for American Progress, a think tank very close to the current Democrat Government, the European progressive Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS) linked to the Party of European Socialists, Policy Network in the U.K., the British think tank IPPR and the Chinese Foundation Center for Contemporary World Studies.
