The main objective of IDEAS Foundation for Progress is to become a platform for reflection, research and action in order to promote values such as equal rights and opportunities, social welfare, solidarity, sustainable development, protection of the environment and cooperation with third world countries.
 
Towards that end it promotes debates and interdisciplinary studies with other foundations and institutions in order to develop proposals to solve the problems of Spanish society or those that, due to their importance, should be dealt with at European and global levels. These ideas have the potential to be become part of the ideological heritage of progressive thought and are intended to benefit all citizens.
 
In Spain we are establishing a permanent and versatile collaboration with other foundations and progressives institutions both at national and regional levels, in order to exchange information; foster specialization in our action areas, support and design common projects and actions; combine and optimize, in other words, to exchange experiences, as well as material and human resources.
 
Additionally, this network is completed by collaboration agreements with universities and other Spanish institutions with the aim of undertaking studies and collaborative projects as well action.
