  • Irene Ramos-Vielba Department Head, Politics, Citizenship and Equality

    Irene Ramos-Vielba holds a Ph.D in Political Science and Sociology from Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) (2003). She has a strong background as a researcher and has published several articles and monographs including as a Visiting Fellow at University of Western Sydney (2009);  Indiana University (2004-2006), under the direction of Dr. Elinor Ostrom, 2009 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences; and Harvard University (1999 y 2000).
     
    She worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Social Studies, Spanish National Research Council (IESA-CSIC) (2007-2009), where she conducted research on the Spanish science policy, university-industry relationships and knowledge transfer processes.
     
    Her other area of research interest focuses on information and communication technology applied to socio-politics and political participation.

  • Mihaela-Loredana Stan Junior Research Fellow

    She holds a BA in Political Science from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Craiova, Romania.

    During her university studies, for one year she completed courses at the Autonomous University of Madrid thanks to the Erasmus/Sócrates mobility program. At the beginning of 2010, she did an internship at the Embassy of Romania in Spain for two months. She is currently doing the Master program on Government and Democracy at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the School of Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

  • Andrea Cameno García Administrative Assistant

    Andrea Cameno García worked for three years as an Administrative Assistant and Production Secretary for Grundy Productions, S.L. and Quartz Productions, S.L. and she has also worked as an Assistant with the Spanish Socialist Party.
