IDEAS Foundation which is connected to Chile through its institutes Ramón Rubial and Pablo Iglesias, shows full solidarity with the people of Chile and urges the international community to support the reconstruction of the affected areas as well as. 
 
IDEAS Foundation works in the areas of cooperation and development and urges the international community to set in motion the coordination mechanisms and to open lines for economic and humanitarian aid to alleviate the devastating conditions in some regions of Chile, where, besides the 700 deaths, there are two million victims, a million and half homeless people as well as the destruction of infrastructures, especially bridges, ports, airports and hospitals.
 
IDEAS reminds that in these moments, the priority is to look after the injured people, assess the damages and itemize the most urgent needs and, furthermore, is confident that “Spain and the other developed countries will find the right response to this call for cooperation and aid”.
